California Residents: Fill out your stem cell funding signature sheets, and postmark them by April 16th!
Sometimes in the midst of trouble, we catch a break — and we just did!
As you know, California stem cell research supporters are trying to get $5.5 billion in new funding for the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM).
But to do that, we need to get on the ballot. That means signature-gathering, from the safety of our own homes.
Our time to gather signatures was almost gone — — but California just gave us a little extra time. Here is how it works, and it is much simpler than it sounds.
Please go to this URL: https://caforcures.com/help-us-qualify/
Download the full document there. It is long, 16 pages single space, but most of it is just background. You only have to fill out just a little bit.
We need your signature, and any others you may be able to provide. Even if it is just your name alone, that is vital — we do not want to come up short!!!
To send the signatures, (you must send the full 16-page document) you will need a 9x12 envelope and 2 “forever” stamps. It is not difficult. Get it in the mail ASAP, so it is postmarked by April 16th.
